How interesting is when there is a reference in the Bible of the early church, or Jesus, speaking in the synagogue. Here we can have clear explanations as to how the scriptures come together, Old and New Testament, for Jesus came to fulfill what is written. Some people believe that Jesus came with a new version of religion. Some other religions also say that they brought a new religion to replace the old ones, or they came with a new message that overrides the previous ones. However Jesus said:"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them” (Matthew 5:17) and that “Heaven and earth will disappear, but [His] words will never disappear” (Matthew 24:35).

Last week I had a long layover in the airport. I got a book to “kill time”. I never was a great reader, but in my adulthood I have impregnated with passion to read Christian books.  In the bookstore I found a book called “How to hear from God” by Joyce Meyer. I thank God, He drove me to get this book, because it has given me confidence to understand that God speaks to us continuously though different means. The need of evidence to build a strong faith series by Ricardo Gomez

I was born and grew up in a nation and an environment where being a Christian is a given, at least nominally. While child and teenager I was probably challenged about God’s existence but once cleared about it, I had not been truly questioned about my faith and the why this is the path to God.

The Messiah’s prophesies - Week 2

Last week we discussed the first of a large amount of prophesies who were given by Our Heavenly father to his people to let them know and recognize who The Messiah is when the time had to come. God from the beginning had a salvation plan, and this must be understood. In his almighty perfection, God picked
Israel as his people. As such, the savior had to come from within the Israelites. The first promise of this was the announcement given to Abraham, where God promised him the Savior was to come from Abraham’s own seed, as discussed in Genesis 12:1-31The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you. 2“I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

The Messiah’s prophesies III

No matter how, no matter when, The Lord has a plan for each one of his sons to bring us close to Him. Today we celebrate that God in his endless wisdom had a plan, and He made a covenant through the blood of the Son. It’s for this wonderful and perfect sacrifice, those who in Him believe have the privilege to be called Son’s of Him, and in the end they will be witness of the eternal and perfect
Kingdom of God.

The King Of Kings, to whom we pay tribute

On the last days of his life, Jacob gathered with their sons to bless them. It must be of satisfaction to be with you beloved on the last moments of life on earth. Jacob intended to encourage his sons into continuing loving God and keeping faithful to their faith. Genesis 49 depicts this scene. Jacob was calling his sons to stay in unity, unlike what happened with Abraham’s and Isaac’s sons.
